What is the pricing for the cloth or Ikat options?

Cloth and Ikat pricing is the same as the faux leather.

How do I select the color and style I want?

Pledge at the reward level for the design you want.

At the end of the campaign, you will receive a survey where you can choose the color and style you want delivered.

At any point you can edit your pledge amount to include upgrade charges, should they apply.

Will the expandable designs come in other styles (fringe, corset) or fabrications (denim, ikat)?

Yes! Because we’ve reached some of our stretch goals, we will definitely be able to offer additional styles and fabrications. We will continue to have more options unlock at higher levels.

Some of them may include an upgrade charge.

Can I pledge for one of each bag?

Absolutely! Check out the combination options (two faux, one of each, 2, 3, 4, or 6 leather) to see if one of those work for you.

If you want to customize a reward, select the level that comes closest to what you want. Then, add the pledge amount for any additional bags you want.

When you get the survey at the end of the campaign, you can select the bags you want.

Do both sides expand?

The zippered, expandable pockets are on the front of both the “right” and the “left” sides of the bag. When opened, the front pocket expands creating more room for bulkier items (or square ones).

What does 1 ½ inches wider mean?

The Sash Extra (all three designs) is an inch and a half wider which means: Wider pockets in front and back More space in the built-in wallet area

How do I change my pledge?

Click on the Sash Kickstarter campaign. Click the “Manage Your Pledge” button. Then, click on the “Change Your Pledge” button.

Adjust your pledge to the desired amount.

Is the Sash Extra Squared the only design that will fit my tablet?

The Sash Extra Squared is the only option that is designed to fit a smaller tablet (iPad Mini, Amazon Fire, or similar). While these may fit in the other designs, we recommend choosing the square pocket option for the most snug fit.

What if I pledged early and now want to upgrade to a new color or style?

At the end of the campaign, you will receive a survey where you can choose the color and style you want delivered.

At any point you can edit your pledge amount to include upgrade charges, should they apply. If we are able to unlock upgraded styles, we will walk you through it!

Are the bags available in Canada?

Absolutely! In fact, the bags offered in the campaign can be shipped anywhere in the world!

Can I use Sash Gift Cards or Sash Cash?

Not for this campaign. This is a way to get funding for these limited-edition designs to get into production and payment through Kickstarter is the way to do it.

What length is the strap on these designs?

The straps are fully adjustable to fit all shapes and sizes. They adjust typically from 25-34 inches in length from shoulder to top of the waist diagonally.

What is Faux Leather?

Faux Leather is a non-leather alternative that has a similar look and feel with a smooth finish but does not contain any animal products.

What styles can I get with fringe?

Only our Genuine Leather styles will be available with a fringe option. The fringe does not work well with cloth or Faux Leather materials. We would recommend the original smaller swath of fringe on any of the expandable styles due to the extra zippers.

The fringe leather bags will be an additional cost of $20 per bag. Just edit your pledge to add the appropriate dollar amount, and you can order fringe bags at the end of the campaign.

The pocket measures about 6.5” x 7.5”.

Can I get a metallic foil finish as an upgrade on the faux leather?

Not at this time. The metallic and fringe upgrades are for leather bags only.

How many upgrades can we choose (i.e. Is stud AND fringe an option)?

You can choose one accent upgrade, such as stud OR fringe, but not both. You can also choose a finish upgrade, such as metallic. Each upgrade is $20 per bag. So metallic with studs would be a $40 upgrade. Fringe and stud is not allowed.

What happens to the square pocket material when it's tucked away? Is it bulky?

The square corner zips up into the main exterior pocket and can easily be worked around to maintain the functionality of the main pocket.

Will the fringe have raw edges like your classic fringe bags or a finished edge?

The fringe will have raw edges as our classic fringe bags do.

For the studs, can we choose the color of the hardware?

Yes. For the studs ONLY, you will have the option of either antique brass or silver for what color you’d prefer them to be.

Can I pledge for two options? (i.e. Double Up on Leather & then add a Faux bag)

Yes, but the system isn’t going to allow you to choose both options. So here is what you’ll do: Choose the highest level option (in the case of the example, the Double Up on Leather is the higher tier) as your default, and then add the additional cost of what the Faux would cost in addition to your pledge. We will follow up after the campaign to help with choosing the additional bags you pledged for.

Will the faux leather offer the same color choices as the genuine leather?

We will be offering the same colors for the faux leather as for the regular leather, but they will not be eligible for upgraded options such as the metallic foils (rosegold, gunmetal, denim strip stitch, etc.)

Are you going to offer the faux and genuine leather color options in cloth too?

Currently, the only cloth options we are offering in the campaign are the patterned ikat options and the denim (which will be a standard denim color). We are not offering any other cloth options at this time.

Can I pledge for an ikat/leather combo or reversibles?

Currently, this is not an option we are offering. The newer designs do not work well when reversed so the bags purchased through this campaign will be one solid color. If you choose the ikat/faux/denim option, the bags will be full ikat/faux/denim and the leather options must be full leather as well.

If I have already pledged for several bags (i.e. mix & match, Sashmania, etc.) and I want to add an additional bag(s) to that, would it be the bundled price or regular price of just adding one?

If you have pledged for Sash MEGA bundle and above, additional bags can be purchased at the bundled price. If you have pledged below the amount for the MEGA bundle, additional bags can be added at the regular price.

Is is possible to split my pledge to ship to multiple locations (i.e. the addresses of multiple individuals that went together on the Sashmania)

They will all need to be shipped to the same address (not multiples). The bags themselves are already discounted, along with free upgrades and reduced shipping costs. We are unable to split the order to send to multiple addresses in addition to the heavy discounts already in place, and we thank you for your understanding. :)

If I pledge for Sashmania with a group-- what happens if I need a return or exchange?

If returning for refund, then the refund can only be issued to the team leader that paid upfront for the bags for the Sashmania level. If you need to process an exchange, you will be able to facilitate that directly through us (as long as no refunds are required).

What’s included in the Sash Party with Nichole?

The Sash party includes any 15 Sash Bags offered in the Kickstarter Expandable Campaign. Travel and accommodations for Nichole paid for by Sash as part of this reward. Nichole will hand-deliver bags to a location proposed by you and approved by Sash and be a guest at your party for two hours. Date and time of party subject approval by Sash and will take place between February 20, 2019 and June 30, 2019.

If I add an additional bag to my pledge, how much extra do I add for shipping, or is that free?

We are charging a flat shipping and handling rate of $5 per bag (US and CA) for each additional added on top of the original pledge. International backers can expect to pay more

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
